The car was brought back to the Toyota lineup for the 2020 model year, and praise was immediately given from auto enthusiasts. Toyota isn’t stopping there; the automaker has kicked things up a notch or two for the 2021 model year. 2021 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 and 2.0 engine specifications
For the 2021 model year, the GR Supra is offered in 3.0 and 2.0 variations, named after the engines under their respective hoods. The 3.0 versions will deliver a pulse-pounding 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft of torque. The GR Supra 2.0 is a lightweight and lower-cost option, but it still packs a punch with 255 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The GR Supra offers up an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting, and the 3.0 is built on an updated chassis meant to enhance cornering and overall stability.
2021 Toyota GR Supra available packages
New for the 2021 Toyota GR Supra is the Safety & Technology Package, which is offered across the lineup. This package will include such features as Blind Spot Monitor, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (Full Speed), navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay® compatibility, Supra Connected Services, and more. Another package is carrying over from the 2020 model year for the 3.0 Premium and A91 Edition variations, and that is the Driver’s Assist Package, which includes such available features as Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitor, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (Full Speed), and Parking Sensors with the Emergency Braking Function.
The 2021 Toyota GR Supra is expected to be released in the summer of 2020.
