When is the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime coming out?

Chances are good that you are well aware of how popular, versatile, practical, and fun the Toyota RAV4 is, with many of them spotted out in the wild on a daily basis. Toyota isn’t one to just sit on its successes without branching out, and that is why we can expect an exciting new addition to the lineup: the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime! This is a new plug-in hybrid that can run either as a hybrid or even using fully electric power. When is the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime coming out? 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime power specs

One thing that makes the 2021 RAV4 Prime so special is that, even though hybrids and plug-in vehicles aren’t really known for their speed and their might, the RAV4 Prime is a whole different ball of wax. This crossover SUV is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that works with electric motors to generate a total system output of 302 horsepower. Toyota is projecting that it can use that power to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about 5.8 seconds, which is very impressive for a vehicle of this size and nature. The RAV4 Prime won’t skimp on fuel efficiency either, as it is estimated to get about 90 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent). Efficiency like that and its total horsepower output are two great tastes that are going to taste great together.

2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime notable features

The new RAV4 Prime will be offered up in SE and XSE models. Each one will come equipped with standard all-wheel drive for better traction and hugging of the curvy roads. Standard features include an eight-inch touchscreen with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® functionality, a seven-inch multi-information display above the steering wheel, heated front seats, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Other available features with the XSE grade include a moonroof, ambient lighting, Qi-wireless phone charging, and Audio Plus with a nine-inch touchscreen central display.
